Abstract: Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns offers a profound exploration of the psychological and emotional consequences of war, patriarchy, and domestic violence in Afghanistan. Through the intertwined lives of Mariam and Laila, the novel examines how traumatic experiences shape identity, influence memory, and transform interpersonal relationships.
